What is SpySnipe

Posted on 30 December 2007 under Rogue Programs

1. What is SpySnipe?

Rogue computer security software being downloaded and installed in the act of scaring user with fake and exaggerated PC insecurity alerts. Originally SpySnipe looks like genuine spyware removal software, which allows scanning computer for viruses and spyware, generating threat report in the end. The report cannot be trusted as it may be containing non-existence malware names or viruses dropped by program itself. After PC has been scanned, user is asked to get full software version in order to remove spyware. Do not fall into a trap by purchasing licensed version, as SpySnipe is a scam and should not be trusted. Delete SpySnipe as soon as it has been detected (see "How to remove" section for help).
