What is MalwareMonitor

Posted on 10 October 2007 under Rogue Programs

1. What is MalwareMonitor?

It is a rogue PC security application that shows false error messages and generates misleading computer scan results. Even though Malware Monitor offers spyware scan for free, it will ask to buy commercial version to remove found threats. But the main thing is that this program is unable to clean computer properly, that is why we call it rogue application. The other suggestive reason to call it rogue - application is spread by a trojan, what makes "Add/Remove Programs" tool helpless to remove Malware Monitor - trojan will refresh infection over and over again.
Also known as MalwareMonitor 2.1.
